Our Services

All services are available face to face in Launceston or via telehealth. Please enquire if you require outreach support.

Adults

Individual therapy provides a safe and confidential environment to address emotional, psychological and lifestyle challenges. Throughout therapy individuals gain valuable insights, as well as practical skills and tools to reduce distress and enhance wellbeing.

Young People

For young people between age 12-16, Laura uses a family systems approach to assessment, which involves examining family dynamics, identifying strengths and resources, and exploring interactions within the family. Based on this assessment, a treatment plan is developed. This plan may include individual therapy for the young person, child-focused parent work, family therapy, or a combination of these approaches.

Families

Laura provides single session family therapy which is a targeted brief intervention that aims to address therapeutic goals within one session. This can be used to address specific concerns within the family to achieve meaningful change.

Professional Supervision

Laura provides professional supervision to social workers and other mental health professionals. Laura has a particular interest supporting social workers to develop core competencies in mental health and supporting their pathway to pursue the AASW Mental Health accreditation.

Training

Laura can provide customised training for small professional groups interested in expanding their knowledge and improving their skills. This training is tailored to meet the specific needs of each group, focusing on enhancing their understanding and expertise in relevant areas. Laura's training sessions are designed to be engaging, informative, and practical.
